Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm is looking for an entry-level civil engineer to join our transportation group. Responsibilities include working with the design team to assist with preparation of roadway plans; performing design calculations and geometrics; drafting reports; and performing quantity take-offs and cost estimates. A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or the ability to obtain the degree within six months of hire date.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: Microstation, AutoCAD, and Civil3D software programs; GeoPAK and Bentley Open Roads software programs; transportation coursework; civil engineering internship; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). The ideal candidate will have also passed the fundamentals of engineering exam.
