  • Responsibilities

    Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as our Federal Programs market leader in the southeast.  This position leads the business development and marketing efforts of our Federal Programs team to achieve sustainable, growing, and profitable business units aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.  Particular emphasis for this position is on the South Atlantic Division (SAD) and its districts of the Army Corps of Engineers.


    Specific responsibilities include identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities through client relationships; contributing to relevant business units’ and company’s business and strategic planning efforts; participating with project teams at key milestones; and maintaining client relationships for program and project success. Travel will be required.


    The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, architecture, or a related field and at least five years (15+ preferred) of relevant experience.


    The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: a track record of business development success; experience developing and executing capture plans for USACE opportunities; experience leading military vertical, horizontal projects, or civil works projects (dams, levees, etc.); experience building project teams with teaming partner firms; strong client relationships with SAD and/or its districts. A professional license is a plus.
