Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time, limited-term position available for a cultural resources specialist. This position is currently limited-term, but could potentially be converted to a regular, full-time, benefits-eligible position. This position offers you an opportunity to conduct research, author property descriptions and histories, develop historic contexts, and conduct field surveys to document historic properties while applying the National Register Criteria to determine National Register eligibility. Travel will be necessary.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s (or higher) in art history, architectural history, public history, American studies, history; or closely related field.
The ideal candidate will possess any/all of the following: master’s degree in art history, architectural history, public history, American studies, history; or a closely related field; strong research and writing skills; understanding of American architectural styles.
