Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for an entry-level project accountant to join our Finance department. Responsibilities include processing invoices for assigned department managers; preparing client required documents; coordinating with assigned project managers to monitor status of receivables; creating and maintaining projects in accounting software, including project billing terms and project budgets; maintain contact and communication with assigned managers; running standard reports; maintaining and organizing files. Travel may be required.
The successful candidate will have an associate degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, business, or related field, or if no degree, must have at least two year of relevant accounting experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: working with computerized financial accounting systems; overall accounting practices; accounting coursework; working with engineering and architectural services; Deltek Vision.
