Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for a senior civil/environmental technician.
Responsibilities include serving as a lead project designer on engineering design projects for public sector water, wastewater and stormwater projects; coordinating the collection of field data by subconsultants; developing construction plans; coordinating in-house and subconsultants design work by other disciplines; communicating with equipment vendors and clients regarding project needs/updates. Some travel may be required.
Successful candidates must have an associate degree (or higher) in CAD, engineering technology or related field plus twelve years of relevant experience; if no degree; must have at least fourteen years of relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: designing water, wastewater and stormwater systems; AutoCAD; coordinating survey, geotechnical and other subconsultants; as a design project manager or design project coordinator; federal, state and local permitting; Microsoft Office software.
