Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a new full-time position available for a marketing coordinator in our growing Water & Utilities business unit. Responsibilities include coordinating and executing the proposal development process; leading proposal kickoff meetings; assisting with interview preparation and presentations; writing and editing marketing materials and technical content; preparing and executing the annual marketing plan, schedule and budget; offering input and guidance on project and team selection for proposal pursuits; organizing client events; attending tradeshows and conferences; and other various marketing tasks. Travel may be required.
The successful candidate must have a combination of education and/or experience totaling six years of relevant experience. Any of the following is acceptable: bachelor’s degree in business administration, journalism, english, communication, marketing, or related discipline plus 2 years of experience; associate degree in business administration, journalism, english, communication, marketing, or related discipline plus 4 years of experience; no degree plus 6 years of experience.
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: experience working in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment with constant deadlines; experience with Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word); experience writing and/or editing technical content including familiarity with the AP style guide; experience with proposals (RFPs, RFQs) or grant submissions; experience working at an architecture, engineering or construction firm; basic knowledge of CRM databases like Deltek Vision.
