Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has an opening for an entry-level civil engineer to join our municipal group. Responsibilities include analyzing and preparing engineering reports, specifications, construction cost estimates, and plans for various municipal design projects; performing drafting tasks in AutoCAD and Civil3D to generate plan sheets; assisting with construction administration tasks including working in the field at project sites (weekends and nights, as needed). Some travel and a valid driver’s license will be required.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited four-year college or be able to obtain the degree within three months of hire date.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: AutoCAD and Civil3D software programs; civil engineering internship; working on municipal and private development projects; working with GIS and surveying equipment; Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate will also have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
