Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for an accounts payable specialist in our Finance department. Responsibilities include verifying expense reports; assisting with processing accounts payable; assisting with processing credit card statements; reconciling other appropriate accounting data; maintaining accounting department files; and helping with other tasks in the Finance department as needed.
The successful candidate will have an associate degree (or higher), at least three months of relevant experience in accounting and computerized accounting systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: processing expense reports; processing accounts payable invoices and creating and maintaining vendor records; accounting software (Deltek Vision preferred); processing credit card statements; working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) regarding expenses and payables; working with employees at other locations throughout the country/team collaboration; troubleshooting expense report and accounts payable coding errors; strong attention to detail and emphasis on process documentation.
