Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has a position available for a part-time planning intern. This position is currently a part-time less than 30 hour (i.e., no benefits) position. The hours for this position could vary weekly from zero to 25. Responsibilities include assisting with aviation and environmental planning projects; assisting with airport master plans; NEPA documentation; land use and zoning issues; aviation system planning; research, data collection and analysis; graphics development; writing technical documents.
Successful candidates must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in aviation management, environmental planning, urban planning, or related field.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: four or more semesters of college-level coursework; research related to aviation planning and/or environmental topics; strong written and verbal communication skills; experience with GIS and AutoCAD; aviation related coursework; demonstrated interest in the aviation field
