Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position for a civil engineer to work with our aviation group.
Responsibilities include assisting with project scoping, design, and construction observation for aviation projects; assisting with the coordination of survey and geotechnical data collection; assisting with civil design and drafting; preparing construction quantity estimates; drafting sections for technical reports; coordination of specifications and utilities; identifying and reviewing field surveys. Some travel will be required including working on-site at various airport locations.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering and at least four years of relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D; Aviplan/aircraft parking layout software; aviation projects; airfield and pavement design; construction inspection and administration.
