  • Responsibilities

    Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for an experienced electrical engineer.

     

    Responsibilities include preparing plans and specifications of electrical systems for bidding and construction; managing electrical projects; providing construction administration; coordinating work and communication between subcontractors, teaming partners and suppliers; and business development activities including client calls/visits, pre-bid site visits, proposals, and contract negotiation. Some travel will be required.

    Qualifications

    The successful candidate must possess ALL of the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university;
    • At least eight years of relevant electrical experience;
    • PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states 

    The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: designing electrical systems for water, wastewater and building projects; troubleshooting and commissioning electrical systems; low or medium voltage power generation, switchgear and controls; substation and interconnection feature design; Microstation V8 CAD design software; SCADA, AutoCAD and/or Revit power design software. A Florida PE is also desired.
