Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an exciting opportunity available for an entry-level engineering technician to join our aviation group.
Responsibilities include assisting with civil engineering, planning, design, and construction project planning, engineering and design documents; computations and quantities; construction cost estimates; project site visits; materials testing; construction inspection; construction staking and layout; topographic surveying; site grading and design; and communicating with project teams and clients. A valid driver’s license and travel will be required.
The successful candidate will have an associate degree (or higher) in civil engineering technology, surveying technology, construction administration, land surveying or related field. If no degree, must have at least two years of relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with any/all of the following: AutoCAD Civil 3D; construction inspection; surveying; materials testing; Microsoft Office software; performing quantity estimates; grading processes and testing.
