Responsibilities include providing technical expertise and leadership to the mechanical project team; designing quality engineered building mechanical systems; preparing plans and specifications for bidding and construction; preparing construction cost estimates; and performing construction administration. Entrance onto military bases is an essential function of this position; candidates must be able to pass federal, state, and/or local agency background checks. Travel will be required.

The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following: designing building mechanical systems for healthcare, military, aviation and food processing facilities; developing energy models; designing chilled water and high-pressure steam systems; familiarity with ASHRAE standards including 62.1 and 90.1; experience with direct digital controls; a Wisconsin PE.
