Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has one or more positions available for a limited-term, full-time engineering intern to work on aviation projects starting in June/July 2018 and ending in August/September 2018.
Responsibilities include assisting engineers and design technicians with civil engineering projects; performing design calculations, quantities, and cost estimates; assisting with project report preparation; performing field inspections and survey work. A valid driver’s license and some overnight and extended-stay travel may be required including working on-site at various airport locations.
Successful candidates must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in civil engineering.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: civil engineering design coursework; MS Office software; construction field tasks. A previous internship with CDOT, a civil consulting firm, or FAA is also a plus.
