Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for an experienced environmental planner.
Responsibilities include leading the preparation of NEPA compliance documents; conducting research and development of planning studies and reports along with accompanying graphics and reports; preparing for, attending, and presenting at public planning meetings. Occasional travel will be required. This position’s role includes being both a technical resource and project manager; depending on the scope of the project.
The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree or higher in urban planning, civil engineering, environmental science, or related field; AND at least four years of relevant planning experience; OR; a bachelor’s degree in any field plus six years relevant planning experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: preparing NEPA documents; technical report writing and editing; airport environmental and planning projects; project management; coordinating with federal and state regulatory agencies; Microsoft Office software; ESRI ArcGIS and AutoCAD software.
