Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for an entry-level planner to work with our aviation department.
Responsibilities include assisting with aviation and environmental planning projects; airport master plans; NEPA documentation; land use and zoning codes; development review and long range plans; research; data collection and analysis; graphics development; and document writing. Some travel may be required.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a field related to planning, or a bachelor’s degree in any field plus two years of exposure to aviation, transportation, and/or urban planning.
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: aviation planning experience; research skills related to aviation, planning, and environmental topics; strong written and verbal communication skills; experience with public involvement; analytical and quantitative skills; experience with GIS and AutoCAD.
