Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for an entry-level engineer.
Responsibilities include working with the design team to assist with the coordination of utility providers in relation to NCDOT transportation projects; developing utility sheets using CAD software programs; evaluating potential conflict points with existing utilities. Occasional travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering or related field from an accredited four-year college or university or be able to obtain degree within 3 months.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: transportation design coursework or work experience; utility design coursework or experience; EIT or ability to obtain within 3 months; AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation; MS office software.
