Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has a position available for a limited-term, full-time engineering intern to work on transportation projects starting in May/June 2018 and ending in August/September 2018.
Responsibilities include assisting engineers with civil and transportation engineering projects; assisting with engineering drawings, plan preparation, and project reports; and performing design calculations and quantity estimates.
Successful candidates must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in civil engineering.
The ideal candidate will possess any/all of the following: transportation coursework; experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation software; previous experience on SCDOT projects; experience with ArcGIS and Microsoft Office software; strong analytical and quantitative skills.
