Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an exciting opportunity available for an entry-level engineering technician.
Responsibilities include assisting with civil engineering, planning, design, and construction projects including preparation of planning, engineering and design documents; computations and quantities; construction cost estimates; project site visits; material testing; construction inspection; construction staking and layout; topographic surveying; site grading and design; and communicating with project teams and clients. A valid driver’s license and travel will be required.
The successful candidate will have an associate degree (or higher) in civil engineering technology, surveying technology, construction administration, or related field; or be within one semester of obtaining a relevant degree. If no degree, must have at least two years of relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with any/all of the following: AutoCAD Civil 3D; construction inspection; surveying; materials testing; Microsoft Office software; performing quantity estimates.
