Overview

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for a civil engineer to work with our transportation group. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include working with the design team to prepare preliminary, right of way, and final roadway plans; performing design calculations; completing plans, specifications, quantity estimates and corridor models; and drafting reports. A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or university AND a minimum of 2 years of related experience.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: NCDOT roadway design policies and procedures; Microstation, Geopak and/or corridor modeling; design-build projects; GIS software; MS office software. EIT certification is also preferred.
