Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has a position available for limited-term, full-time civil engineering co-op student(s) to work on aviation projects starting in Feb/March 2018 and ending in July/August 2018.
Responsibilities include assisting engineers, design technicians and surveyors with civil engineering projects; performing design calculations, quantities, and cost estimates; assisting with survey work; assisting with project report preparation, performing construction observations including concrete paving and asphalt paving. A valid drivers license and some overnight and extended-stay travel may be required.
Successful candidates must be eligible to participate in a college-level civil engineering co-op program.
The ideal candidate will possess any/all of the following: construction field experience; airport planning and/or design experience; basic grading process and testing experience; experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software; the ability to travel and work long hours and weekends if necessary.
